The woman who kidnapped a baby 24 years ago and then raised it as her own will plead guilty to charges of kidnapping today at the Manhattan Federal Court

Ann Pettway took Carolina White from Harlem Hospital when she was 19-days-old, fearing that she would never have a child of her own. Pettway moved to North Carolina where she raised the White as her own child, naming her Nedja Nance.

The case was cracked last January, when White discovered a picture of a kidnapped baby that looked similar to her own childhood photos. She launched a probe into the case and discovered who she was her mother to be her kidnapper.

She was soon after reunited with her biological parents, Joy White and Carl Tyson, but soon after moved to Atlanta after the relationship became icy.
