Quantum Levitation Caught in Action, It's Stunning! [VIDEO]

A YouTube video dubbed "Quantum Levitation" has gone viral, leaving the world wondering what causes the quantum trapping as the narrator in the video calls it.

The mind-boggling demonstration of quantum levitation comes from a representative from Tel-Aviv University, at Association of Science - Technology Centers (ASTC) 2011. Could a superconductor locked in magnetic field possibly suggest a future with hoverboard in reality?  

As shown in the video, the super-cooled object stayed locked in mid-air, maintaining the same position and movement as the demonstrator gives momentum, whether it is to stay still or rotate above (or below) a metal disk.
